Herriman Utah is named after one of the first men to settle the area in 1849, Henry Harriman. Until the year 2000, the population saw a slow growth up to around 1,500. Since the year 2000, the population has rocketed 861% and is currently 16,769. Close to six percent of the population are renters and the median income is $69,151. Because of the huge growth, there weren’t updated records for the current number of houses but it can be estimated to be somewhere around 4,651 if the previous trends have continued.
